Junior Electro-Technical Officer

Key Responsibilities:

The Junior Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance, repair and routine testing of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard the ship. This includes power generation, control systems, radio communications and electronic navigation aids, to maximise the operational safety and efficiency of the vessel.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 12 months' shipboard experience in the electro-technical field 
  • Previous cruise ship experience is desirable

Education:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree preferred
  • CoC III/6 preferred
  • Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position

Contract:

  • 4 months on-board, followed by 2 months of vacation 
  • Single cabin with private bathroom facilities
